Yeah I thought of that.

But now i can't even find a G20 that isn't an auto near me.

Don't want to go through the fabrication hell that is a swap from auto to manual

What do you think the worst case would be for not passing smog?

This car is $1000 but will not pass smog... Willing to drop around $500 into it, 1000 if i really have to.

prepared to replace clutch obviously.

To OP, if you're not going to properly modify the suspension on either car don't worry about handling. Bent rear beam on a B14 ftw.

If you need the 4 doors go P10, don't bother getting a P11 to make engine upgrades. It's a waste of time and money since the P11 is heavy. Oh and get a P10 with good leather seats if you want comfort. New leather on B14 seats are more comfortable than what my P11 old leather seats were lol.

If you don't need the 4 doors go B14.

The P10 and P11 are not that large a difference in weight, you should read up on that. There is a thread on here detailing the feud.

Even when you lower any chassis with a rear beam, the car begins to dog walk or crab track. The stock Scott-Russel link needs upgraded or removed and replaced with an adjustable panhard rod.

Until the beam-fellas bend the beam to zero toe-in and removed the Scott-Russel link and replace it with a panhard, meh.

Also, Vex, you should know that The front is lowered one inch. None is recovered since I use factory mounts up front. The rear is lowered .625" via springs but the mounts bring the rear back up one whole inch leaving me with slightly more travel than stock in the rear.

When I had looked it up the P10 was around 2600lb and the p11 was around 3000 not sure where all that weight comes from, my sentra is only like 2200

I'm not planning on lowering.... I live on a bumpy road. I'm not sure what you are talking about "Crab walking" or 'scott-russel" or whatever this stuff is. lol

Just to update this thread, I bought the G20... it has a flickering oil light, needs new motor mounts, and a clutch

Paid $1000

The paint is pretty good, someone made a a black ring all the way around the bottom "Skirt" of the car. There is a place on the rear bumper where it looks like it was hit and they spray painted it. Clean title tho

And there was a bra we didn't take off until a got home and there is a small nich/dent in the hood to the right of the infiiti logo about an inch wide.. so I put the bra back on. LOL

I'll post pics.

If it passes smog tomorrow I'll be a very happy camper

Only thing is it has temp registration until december.... arizona title... Got a bill of sale from the person it's currently registered too..

I know DMV is gonna stick me pretty hard with this one. lol

supposedly i just need to get it smogged and i get the plates, got the receipt for the reg, plates, etc.

91-96 P10's have the black around the bottom from the factory.
96's are full body colored
91-93 have black moldings and the top part of the bumpers are black and black door handles, and auto seatbelts.
94-96 have chrome handles, manaul seatbelts
93.5's are unique, molding and top of bumpers are body colored but have black door handles and older style grille, and manual seatbelts.

There are few more differences.

Ok so I still think $1000 was a good price, but this car has 205k on it, not 105k

LOL

Pretty big difference.

They blatantly lied.

Oh well, was planning on doing an engine and tranny swap anyways.
