Thread: Head work pics

Its easy up to a point. Id say building a mid 10 to low 11 second turbo car is pretty easy. Now driving that mid 10 second run proves more difficult, while the power is easy to make, getting it dialed in takes some time a lot of times if you havent dealt with that kind of power before. And during that time a lot of stupid small things can happen that keep you from it. So it still proves difficult sometimes. 9 second car, It takes someone that knows what they are doing, no questions about it.

N/A is agreeably way more difficult though as far as making power goes but much more easy to drive. Kinda exactly the opposite of turbo.

Realize this guys, the SR N/A market is still fresh and new. There's only a handful of guys that have really spent the time, money and effort to really test, try parts and setups out. Cory, SR20GTi-R, Mr.Sentra SpecV are a few that we know of hand. I know we take suggestions from these guys all the time since they do put the time and effort into it. However for us as a company to do such more product development, we have to see if its worth it. We'd love nothing more to see more n/a builds out there and crank out big #'s like the Honda B/K series guys are making. This takes money, time, effort and lots of r&d. If we can take it all with the capabilites we have at the shop, im sure in no time that the efforts will be well worth it.

Also to add, we are currently doing a big n/a build for a customer where we are going to be trying a few new things in, especially with the cylinder head. We are going to bench flow test it and see how the flows are going to be. From there we will continue to play around with different combinations of things. We will probably start a thread on it soon.

That sounds like a sweet project. Hopefully you'll get something flowing upwards of the 310cfm@.5 range. Looking forward to this.
