For the 90 bucks on a fuel pump, it would be wise to do it. I melted a piston in my first high comp motor due to lack of fuel from a bad injector at 8,000rpm. I would make sure the pump is 100% and have a excellent set of injectors or send your injectors out for a cleaning/flow testing. On pump gas you have little room for error.

i would drop in the pistons (depending on cost) now that you are doing the build. i would be happy for a 5whp gain with them (for sure) and similar gains in tq too

you can always add a decent header later on

but if you dont buy the ssac as yet and you have a stock 20ve header, use that for now until you can do a better header

wouldnt do ssac and then upgrade to another

my 2 cents

peace
