Do a search here on the forum. It's either a 68K or 100K resistor IIRC. Instead of using the temp sensor, you will stick each end of the resistor into the plug. Also, make sure you plug and run the solenoid with the appropriate vacuum lines. There are diagrams in the FSM and also I have a couple diagrams posted here or on the old sr20forum.com that show how to hook up the solenoid if you're not running EGR. It's pretty simple.


68K resistor is the one. Make sure the vacuum lines are connected properly. Did this mod on both of my VEs, no EGR light.

Yeah codes either with or without the sensor in. Ever figure this out?

thanks, yeah i have a resistor on the one for egr valve itself, and found an actual egr temp sensor and plugged it in and doing ok so far.
