Thread: head resurfacing, deck heights and gasket sizing.

Im pretty sure all i can use is a 90mm hg.

the machinest hogged out the sides of the cc (left and right walls).

So im guessing the best i can do is just clean up the deck with a stone or mill it .010 of an inch and use a 90mm gasket. It doesnt appear i have enough material for a 86 or even a 87mm hg to seal. In spots there only looks to be a 1mm or of material before you see the marks left from the 90mm firing ring.

So all my faith is now put back on a 90mm hg, i hope these things really seal...

i have one other option.

just need some measurements on what a stock unilled head measures in at.

maybe ill comb threw the service manual tonight to see if anything is posted in there.
