i owned a vz-r so i know it's JN 15

thing is i need to order a part for a vz-r N1 and needs the specific code for one of those, if it is different.

It does appear to be different. Did you not read the link?

There are 8 different chassis codes in the N15 chassis family.

SN15
SNN15
FN15
FNN15
HN15
HNN15
EN15
JN15

Maybe add HB to the end of it? JN15HB.

none of those are vz-r much less vz-r n1. did you look at the engine for those other 7 chassis?

only the vz-z have jn15. just trying to see if the vz-r n1 chassis is different from the regular vz-r. so far the link is not saying that.

HB i think means hatch back so that's not helping either. other vz-r's come HB as well
