Thread: SR20VE std valves replacement options??

I wonder what are the options other than OEM for SR20VE std (no oversize) valves in the market?? I know OEM are cheap and good but they are hard to get sometimes so I wonder if there its any other company that makes std size valves for the VE??

when i THOUGHT i needed some no body made them. When i bent my ve-t ones back in the day no one made them. i don't understand why no one does. i think someone sugested to me to turn down the large aftermarket ones to match the stock head.

seems like the only real way is new o.e.m. or used.

OEM Nissan vavles are $45-$50 new and after market oversized vavles are $20-$30 .

That's sounds about right but, that's with a dealer discount that alot of people don't have access to. I once got a quote from a pretty well known seller, it was about $40-48/vavle IIRC . We just decide to get aftermarket vavles instead.

I understand people need to make a dollar but that's just crazy.

I think sealti you should reconsider a different supplier for OEM parts I have paid at the most $19-21/valve

I usually dont have a need to buy regular ve stuff from sellers and now I have a pretty good supply of good used stuff.

Jamie, your right some sellers are just nuts when it comes to "special order items" and they make you wait for ever too.
