Thread: vtec controller to activate VVL help!!

hello friends!
I need help to connect my new VVL engine.
I need to make the gap with a vtec controller! will have a diagram or instructions to connect?
I need to activate the VVL please!

Its easy:

-Wire the tach signal into the Vtec controller (brown usually->green wire on coil)
-Ground one side of each solenoid.
-Other side of each solenoid goes to Vtec out on the controller. (dont remember if its blue or yellow)

Pop VVL.

MSD box will trigger ground/ Vtec controllers trigger power.

MSD8969 you have to wire the red to switch 12V, black to ground, the white to RPM Signal, the yellow one goes to the solenoids now with the solenoids you have to take 1 and 1 from the solenoids and attach them together as 1 wire there goes the yellow wire from the MSD and the other 2 wires left wire them to constant 12+ source.

Dont wire to the dizzy, do it right and go off the ecu. The signal is much more reliable.
