Yeah seems pretty bad considering if you check the nissan fsm for building the box there is no shimming for the pinion shaft as far as i'm aware just a circlip where its normally shimmed and nothing for the diff either.

It's bad news alright that they are failing.

I received a used OEM LSD tranny from a forum member that had a thrashed final drive, just not as bad as this, but looked similar.

I've been using mine for 2 full seasons now. Hard abuse on the track, 6k launches with over 200wtq...

Iv seen first hand a Mates honda 4.9 do very similar, Just mY bad lUck

Its After Setting me back a Fair few weeks Now with the car, And a Wad of cash but sure shit happens
