50.8mm runners Too big??? Results on last page...
I am planing making a custom IM and I will use 50.8mm id runners and velocity stacks and Q45 tb do you guys think it's too much I will be testing it on a stock VE with N1 cams and tri-y header I already have a baseline Dyno of the car with stock IM
Edit The runners are 2.0in so they are actually 50.8mm

looks like 155 HP and 144 TQ, but I just used right click, view image, hold CTRL while scrolling the mouse wheel up, and it'll zoom in the pic. That blurs the pic a bit tho. The HP wasn't too clear. May be 165?

I think / know 52mm will work very well. There is a graph floating around somewhere of it vs a stock manifold ...

I'm building a 55mm tapered runner for my big motor.

Good that's what I wanted to hear I already have the materials to build it so there its no come back I know it probably will help at the top end maybe after 7,000rpms but I will be installing the 4.78 fd once I get it so that will help staying on the powerband it already have a nice one..

Id just make a little cut on the exit where it meets the flange to taper it down a bit. 52 even crushed down is a little bigger then the flange.

Where did you get your stacks?
