Thread: pipe directions

has anyone tried to run the exhaust pipe under there solid beam instead of running it the regular way....which is over the rear right wheel....will this help as there less run for the exhaust to get out???

ummm.... i think i know what your saying, you have a b14/15 or g20 without indy rear suspension. and you want to go under the beam....

no. don't

think about what hapens when you jack up the rear end of the car. it'll have to clear that at it's lowest. which means it'll probably be dragging if not, a major clearence issue.

oh and this has nothing to do with vvl

Also it would do basically nothing at all. There might be a small difference if you flow tested the exhaust but it wouldn't mean a thing for your engine.

ur not the only that wonder that but i think it would be to close to the ground and hit or even with flex it would hit the beam. but the flow would be greater
