Somewhere around 110mm iirc

Thanks Jer.

Busy working on some custom intake manifold specs. Based on the data of my motor and some sizings from derm I believe these are the harmonic lenghts:

1st - 24"
2nd - 13.5"
3rd - 9.5"
4th 7.45"
5th - 6"
6th - 5"
7th - 4.4"

Now, given the space available in our cars I reckon the only sensible harmonic to target is the 3rd one. If the distance between port face and valve is already 110mm then it only leaves around 5" runner lenghts from port face to velocity stack face? Seems kinda short to me....?

Yea, that seems a little short. Whats the motor specs though?

That makes it even worse. Aka only ~4.5inch runners including the veloctiy stack to get a total length of ~9.5inch.

Unless we can somehow squeeze 8.5" in there to target the 2nd harmonic? Seems like a tall order. IIRC firewall to head is about 10.5"

Angling the runners up instead of straight out from the motor and extending the vel stacks as deep into the plenum as possible(within reason) will help get you a little more length out of the runners, but it still wont be as long as you would want it to be.
