Thread: b14 tb on vvl

why do people bother with the vvl tb and finding a tps for it over here in cali its hard to find rr's or other compatible tps.... i just used a b14 throttle body and older style tps (b13,b14,p10) tps works fine!

alot of us do change out the ve tb, not just because of the tps, but because the screws like to come loose an fly into your engine!!

not to mention the pesky cold idle valve..

i've used b13 tb's b14 tb's the only one i left alone was my friends sr16ve but we loctited his screws an tightened the shit out of them, he's uses his 16ve ecu so we figured it would work best that way, an i kid u not this car runs just like if it was from factory, no hiccups!

well i didnt bother with any of that lol, but yes that would be a bonus for those who wanted it.. just gotta make a bracket of some sort an your good to go
