sr20ve engine manual
There was some guy trying to translate a manual. But was wondering if anyone has a English version for the sr20ve. I want all the torque specs, clearances/tolerances so I prefer to have the exact VE manual.

You can look high and low but... English version does not exist. If you DO find on the other hand, I will be the first one to cheer!!!!

did you find the manual in japanese in pdf format? could you use a translator program to do the whole thing automatically? i know you can do bits and pieces with a web translator but im sure the engine manual is as big as the fsm's so probably 400+ pages.

I have a version of a foreign language, not sure which. The info given is slightly useful yet lacks the detail necessary for a close tolerance build.

The contents
Pics or pdf (kind contribute of cmng)
Most common torque values on page 80

I found no electronic form available for the N15/P11/U14 SR16/20VE manual and if somehow existed the contents will be stored as images inside the pdf so automatic translation would be impossible...
We could learn Japanese, ask nicely from somebody who already knows or pay for translation services...

Sharing knowledge wouldn't harm your business and would certainly help a lot the community...

I just downloaded what you've posted Out of Sight. I really appreciate your post. Unfortunately its the same version that I am trying to work with. Basically the manual becomes a picture book, which looses some helpfulness. Hence my attempt to find a translated version. I wish we could find an actual paper copy, pay for translation, reformat in English and then release a version to the forum. But, that is just me daydreaming.

Nobody is stopping you getting the hard copy or paying for translation services. I wasn't gifted anything...
A260-1000 must be the product code.

Here you can find specific illustration notes translated.
Pages19-21 regarding manifold also translated.

cmng is working on the translation along with a good friend of his. This process takes a lot of time and free time is something most working people don't have spare. I'm sure he will let us know about any major progress.
