My VET update
Wow, never seen so many VET threads before. This is my first time on the site. I don't really know what is going on with the old forum... so, maybe someone can fill me in.

Anyway, after looking at my budget I have been forced to use the JWT computer for a bit longer, but I have chosen a different program. I have experienced a lot of driveability issues with the 90mm lightning maf. It just seems too sensitive, so I am going with the Z32 maf instead. Maybe converting to a blow through setup later on. The new rev limit is 7500rpm. Instead of going with the calum, I have decided to spend the extra money on:

Boost controller, prob profec B.
Cam gears, to take out that overlap and cure the timing retard that occured when the block was resurfaced with the head.
A Greddy MSS, though complicated it will save some space.
And some gauges! Gonna try not to kill the sleeper look with anything outrageous.

Thats it for the next few months. After tuning I am gonna up the boost and beat the hell out of it. 400whp is coming.

Hopefully the Z32 MAF will fix your issue. I am going to run the identical program as you. Even the same turbo etc, but with a "stock" DET bottom end. I'm really looking forward to hearing how this works for you. I can try the program for you if you want

I got the maf today. Baby came yesterday. It is a really good feeling. As much as I believe we are all going to overpopulate and collapse our civilization I feel really good when I hold my son. Uh, anyway The computer should be on the way so I can own my buddies ass. I just put a disco and 555cc injectors with a z32 maf on my old DET that I sold him. It was pushing 290whp before the disco on 18psi pump. Now he is running the bigger turbo and stuff and wants to own my ass on 16psi. I say bring it. I got cam gears coming too but that will be pretty much it for the mods for a little bit. I am going to have to budget to buy anything since the wife will not be working.
