I have heard of guys using some ARP flywheel bolts too that are supposed to be stronger.This is what I plan to use on my track car for added peace of mind.

I did use locktite because I always worried about something like this happening. I'm upset about the flywheel loss but ohh well. I gotta see if one of my cousins or someone can help me get it onto a stand so I can wrench on it. Car should be back up and running soon. Gives me a chance to clean up the engine bay!

looks like u used bolts that were already stretched out or u didnt tighten then enough. sucks man but u have bragging rights, never see that shit before lol.

did you use Flywheel bolts or flex plate bolts? i've seen similar pics when guys used the automatic flexplate bolts..

Nope it was the longer flywheel bolts. Well old crank is out. Just picked up another crank. Going to start assembly right now. Motor should be back together within the next hour.
