20V valve cover PCV valve. What do you use?
I'm getting more and more ready to put the 20V valve cover on my engine. I noticed the PCV valve boss is not threaded. It is just a smooth hole. I'm guessing the valve just presses into it, maybe with some RTV?

Can anyone with a 20V valve cover confirm that their PCV valve is not threaded into the boss?
Also, for anyone who's had to source their own valve for this, where did you get it?
Maybe I'll tap the VC for a regular threaded valve, but then what thread size am I looking for?

I'm going to call Greg V soon and see what he can do for me but I'd love some ideas.

On my VE, there's a rubber piece that goes into the VC. The PCV snaps right into it.

I can't remember which pcv I ordered though. Greg will know anyways.

2005 sentra 1.8s

So I order one from a 2005 Sentra 1.8s and I get something like this?

I wonder if the Toyota Camry/Avalon/Highlander or Honda Integra ones with the right angle would fit... It would make the routing much better for me. Maybe I'll give it a try.

Thanks guys. I think I'm on the right track.

Let me know which one you get. I ripped mine little bit when I broke down the VC to paint.

That's it. Ben, do you have the rubber grommet?

Oh, so it is a valve and grommet... That helps a lot.
Do we think the the 2005 Sentra 1.8s also uses the same grommet?

I don't think I have that grommet either. But I need to check a small bag of hardware that came with the VC to be sure.

SR16/20VE grommet and PCV installed in 20V valve cover.
