Xcessive intake manifold for non N1
Does anyone using this manifold?

I'll be spending a few bucks next month and I've been debating between:

- Snickers header
- N1 cams instead my 16ve ones (uninstalled)
- Xcessive intake manifold for non N1 runners (no stacks)

I haven't installed my cams yet so getting N1's instead is my first bet but maybe using my 16ve cams and getting that intake manifold would get me some gains.

Another thing I considered is getting a triple Y honda header but I haven't decide it yet.

Considering the Xcessive manufacturing for 20VE runners is $300 and I'm gonna need to spend another $150 in a Q45 TB and hardware, that's the retail of N1 cams

So the way to go would be using N1 runners and get the plenum (stacks)?

Going that way I'd be spending way more than 500 bucks and 'just' getting lil gains right?

I was already getting a Q45 tb and MAF since I already spotted one in a local yard but that 3.5" are kinda overkill for a stock engine I guess

I guess I'll just get N1 cams and a tune

And if you want to sell your 16ve non n1 cams hit me up. Ill be needing a set here soon. I can purchase them off you in two weeks. But like everyone was saying go n1s and get a good header before doing the intake manifold.

10-15 horse seems like a pretty good gain afterall but looks like I'm gonna have to spend about 700usd and the tune.

So it looks like the N1's are the way to go, even when I'm ditching the 16ve cams I rather to sell em locally since I live in Mexico but thanks for the offer Ashton

So a friend of mine went shopping and got:

- JMR header
- 3" mandrel bent exhaust
- Xcessive intake manifold w/Q45 TB and 3.5" intake piping
- N1 cams
- BC springs and retainers

He will get a tune right away using the Pito.bin like a base map, we will only change the VQ table since will be runing Q45 maf too.

Once he gets some numbers I'd think of getting a new header too
