So the 20V also doesn't switch one of the cams? I thought it was just the VET that didn't.

They switch both cams, they just only use one solenoid to activate the switching. Why use two when you only need one?

Ahh okay, so the 20V does switch both cams (same time, can't be switched independently), and the VET only switches one (because of the missing actuator). Right?

As far as I know without having first hand visual experience, yes. Knowing that, don't quote me on it.

Yep, 20V switches both cams same time, and the VET only switches the intake cam.

You can also use a 20ve/16ve solenoid housing on the 20V to switch the cams independently.

VET switches intake only because of the missing high lobe rocker arms, (see Dre's post on page 1).
