Wich oil when it's 100ºF outside?
I am currently runing Mobil 20w50 into my fresh swapped car, the weather is above 100ºF and even when I know I'm ok with the 20w50 I'd like to get some synthetic oil on the next change, I was thinking in Mobil1 15w50.

I use 10w30, but I'm not particular about oil anymore. I used 20w50 (i think) for track days.

It probably depends on what type of driving you will be doing and the quality of the oil. I'd assume for commuting a 5w30 would work just fine but if you are pounding the throttle everywhere and it's super hot out you could get that weight too hot so you'd want to step it up to a little heavier weight. I am anxious to see how my VE B13 does this summer in hot conditions when I am driving it hard to see what the oil temp readouts are.

This is my daily driven car and I baby it all the time.

Specially at 2 or 3 o'clock I won't go above 3000RPM it's just that weather here is rough, I floor it at noon or night, anyway I'm not one of those hitting redline.

Would 15W40 syn would be better?

I use GC which is 0w-30 but in reality is closer to 5w-35, great stuff which endured my 260 deg F oil temperatures last year on my VE'd NX (running 30-45 min sessions, shifting at 8K). Now I got a oil cooler and still happy with GC as I know it can protect my engine (oil temp is usually at 230-240 deg F on a hot day).
