about sr20ve belt drives
in need of the proper belt drive, i have a 4 rib belt drive for the altenator and the sr20ve pullies are 6 rib. so there's space for it to go side ways while revving. someone here know the proper part number for the belt drive? the one without the ac

i couldnt find one, i tried loads of sizes and none of the 6 rib ones would fit, i cant see how the 4 rib one will move if you have it tightened correctly

thanks, although motor is not in yet, i was just going by ignorant expectations by the way it looks. just being careful before it goes in

you wont have a problem with the belt. The powersteering pump is gutted just so you know so dont try and hook it up

if no pwersteering....take off the ps pump and run a shorty belt,no tensioner,just water pump and crank. like 4 rib 25 inch,or 25 3/8 belt...i posted the part number from napa in one of these ps threads...

oo, i'm using powersteerin from my de to my ve though, well since you or alex or anyone never had problem with 4/3 ribs then I won't have a problem either. I can't drive with no p.s lol heck I was thinking of putting the a.c
