I have a pretty good idea of what I will need for the swap and how long it will take me, couple of little questions:

Can i pull an engine harness out of an Automatic G20 or an Automatic NX2000 as well as the ECU? At my local junkyard there are a couple of cars (94 and earlier so it will be OBDI) but I was wondering if i could pull a harness out of one of the OBDI SR20 cars and have it work with my B14 SR20VE?

Also can i yank a tranny out of one of the b13 se-r's and have it work with my ECU, harness and engine?

Other than the ecu, tranny and harness I plan on pulling the passenger side motor bracket, front motor bracket, rear motor bracket, all gear box brackets and a radiator out of a 200sx se-r thats in the junk yard, order CV's online (probably Ebay) and grab the engine off ebay (most come with accessories) and then get an MSD RPM window switch activator for VVL?

For exhaust I was gonna get some SSAC headers with 2.5" exhaust going to a 3-4" tip

Just make sure the harness isn't hacked up, a P10/B13 harness will not work, you need the B14 harness and ECU for ease of installation. What trim is your sentra? If it's a GXE you shouldn't need the interior harness. Also just go ahead and buy the VE motor, the swap will be the same either way. Grab the rear brakes and E-brake cables while your at it, might as well.

You may want to find out if your junkyard will sell you the whole car, it will be an easy weekend swap that way. Most of us on here that have done this swap have had donor SE-R's, I had 2 and pulled every lil thing I could off of them, hope this helps...

Yes I have the GXE trim, there are two places on the ECU for harnesses, one for interrior and the other for engine correct? That is a really good idea to buy the whole car, I will try to do that. I'm not sure if the junkyard will let me buy the whole car though, if they don't all I would need from a 200sx SE-R is the ECU, harness, motor mounts, tranny mounts, passenger side axle carrier (mount), radiator, radiator lines, heater lines (the ones beneath the TB if i'm not mistaken?) and clutch cable (do i just need the cable or the whole assembly?) that should be all I would need to pull off one IF i couldn't buy the whole car right? Could i use the same shifter and linkage that's in the GA or would I have to yank the shifter assembly and linkage as well? I was gonna order the CV's online as well as prothane motor mounts, aftermarket intake, gauge cluster and anything else that i'm forgetting

I was gonna get this clutch, wanted your guys' opinion(s) on it
Exedy Clutch Kit 95 96 97 98 Nissan 200sx Se-r Sr20de

And for VVL would all i need to engage the solenoids this?

1.6 clutch cable will work just fine, some of the B13 guys swap to the 1.6 cable for a tighter feel, unless you have an auto. You can also use a 95/96 manual G20 OBD II ECU I have one if you can't find a B14 one.

Ok awesome. An ECU would be a great start if you could PM me with how much you want for it? Now on the ecu there are two different places for harnesses to plug in (one for interior, the other for all engine control) correct? What did you think of that clutch? Will the shifter and linkage work with the R20 tranny?

You are a lifesaver man!
