Thread: This VVL bear <e> IS in need of assistance.

Sup dudes. ive come to you gurus again cause you always know your shit. ill just lay it out for ya.

SO, a few days ago i put a stock coil on my VVL sentra because i was having mad problems getting it started (weak battery/cold) and im pretty sure my old MSD coil shit out. well after i put the stock coil on, she fired right up and purred like a kitten. so floored it outta my driveway(like always) and took a quick down and back to see how it was running. when i got back i felt it was running fine so i shut it off. but when i got back in it 15 minutes later, it wouldn't turn over at all. it made a weird and light "err" sound and a smidgen of smoke would roll outta my speedometer/tac area. i opened the hood and everything looked fine other than i MIGHT have switched the positive and negative on the stock coil wires. My buddy said i could have blow a fuse relay but im not really sure where to start.

any suggestions? ideas?

u can find a b13 FSM online all over.. i think there's even a link to it on the forum here an i believe its stickies.. Don't quote me on that tho..

Maybe you left a roach behind the instrument cluster,did the smoke smell like weed?
Check your fuses under the hood.

ill check the relays soon. im almost positive that's what it is.
