I have had the Mazworx header (didn't get to test), the ASP budget header, SSAC header, UK 10.1 header, and now I have a ASP 4-2-1 tripple stepped header.

Yeah, 4 Door, I bought your Mazworx header.
Still not the car yet. I was comparing the flange of the Mazworx and noticed that the ports are only approx. 4 cm wide against 5 cm on an SSAC. That throws me off a bit. The ports on the SCE copper gasket I intend to use are wider than the ports of the Mazworx. It fits exactly on the SSAC but on the Mazworx there is metal visible through the gasket, so the ports of the Mazworx are really smaller. I have both headers right here to do some comparing. I might stick to the SSAC. I will take some pics soon and post those.
I run a 2000+ RR DE motor btw and I am wondering whether the ports of the VE are that much different than those of a DE ?

I thought the MazworXs header was meant for stock cams? look at how long that collector is on it.

^Stock cams / stock motors. That's why I stepped up and got a trippled stepped header instead of going with it.

Deff way too long primaries and the dia is too small aswell for anything more then a typical bolt on stock motor. The collector looks good just sized wrong for a the header. The longer collectors are good their just typically used for higher rpms. The shorter steeper collectors are usually designed for lower end power and low rev motors

There everybody has it. Good for a stock ve. Id like if mazworx would designed a different
version for motors with more ccs and higher compression. I'm sure they gave their eyes on this thread.

Stratton.

I'm not saying its good for a stock ve. As I haven't tried it on a stock ve. But I am saying the primaries wouldn't be choking a stock motor... still for a stock motor id like about 10in shorter and a 2.25 collector... but hopefully we will be seeing some tests on stock motors..
