strange every motor is different for sure and most headers need fine tuning to suit the build.

last year my lowport DE made 196bhp (143bhp is stock) with print out using I/E/C/P & asp budget header. more than any other bolt-on DE in the UK, dare i say it top 3 ever documented on both sides of the pond!

so back to the Mazworx 4-1, any relevant discloseable information?

It was tested back to back and it lost significant power.

Like Gio mentioned before. When it was tested do you know if changes were made in the tune or if cams were dialed in?

It's amazing how much a header can throw off a tune. If the header was just slapped on and compared then that is not an accurate comparison.

Hell I took my Fuji off of my car (that was tuned) and slapped on a Kesi24 header and lost almost 15 whp throughout the mid range and lost about 10 peak HP.

I would like to know whats up with the Mazworx header, too.
It was weird how it was up for sale here...no dynos.Everyone is like...ooooh,aaaahhh.
Then they had a "last chance " sale to try to move them, like they werent gonna make more.
Next thing you know they are on EBAY???WTF???
.....and still no body posting any results.

Either it is making great power, and every owner is keeping it to themselves,or it is not making any better power than an SSAC.

this is true. a header does need to be dialed in.

i believe if you had run n1 cams you would have gained back your loss and then some. ive seen the cars dynoed and run at the track with the now current version of that header. the best was 12.5 with just pistons and n1's and pump gas, all this on a calum basic.

gio as far as the maz header, it lost 40whp on a back to back swap. not sure if it was dialed in or not. i know it was ran agianst a comparable 4:1 custom header. keep in mind this wasnt your average ve. i would like to see the maz header dynoed on a healthy ve with n1's etc for comparison purposes.

ill let the person who tested it chime in more.

props to mazworx for giving it a shot. i hope they redesign it or fab up a completely different version. i for one appreciate them putting in work.
