I agree, were talking about a jdm ve that prolly has 100k on it.

The engines I'm talking about all had over 100k, the only one that didn't work out was a H22 because I was unaware of the special cylinder material, they are like porsche sleeves basically. That engine still ran stong but burned oil, like a quart a week, lol. Live and learn. I would even on a JDM 100k engine still run with just a hone if I were switching pistons with the stock bore size as long as it was within spec. If not, well that is a whole different ball game. If the OP doesn't know how to measure properly, I would send the block to a machine shop and let them decide the best way to go

I have had my machine shop measure out factory bores within spec. They do not always need a bore.

They should all be resleeved and bored to 92mm

well i already have a set of cp's and a ve head.. so cameron is getting the head and VC with my 20ve cams.. i cant wait to get it in.. cameron posted the pictures they sent us on his facebook. motor is SUPER clean. looks new.
