The curves that I have seen on the few ve t25 setups that were actually dyno'd were better with the cams switching. They just need to be switched early, I don't remember exactly where was the best but I would try 3k to start and go from there. Ben I used to think the same thing as you but since I saw i a couple times in person I know it isn't. These people were in the 270+ whp on a dynojet on a t25. Not switching the cams does make a nice smooth powerband though.

thats what im thinkin. and i dont want to toot my own horn but my friend has a tuned Roller Rocker setup on 14psi with a gt28rs and my car pulls much harder on 7psi without vvl hooked up. its surprisingly fast. the vvl where i have it set just makes it feel weird. ill do some fidgeting around. wish i had a wideband to aid me a little bit.

Switch the cams lower. Either way your going to feel a power loss/plateu after 6k anyways because the T25 is running out of breath and cant keep up with the VE head flow. Sorry just the way it is. If you want a nice fatter powerband down low. Engage the cams at 4000 or so. You will feel it.

Yeah, i go to phoenix with my car every now in then, its under even bigger turbo upgrades and drivetrain upgrades right now but hopefully in January i can be done and go for the 9 second pass. Ive gone and helped a couple people in phoenix fix their SE-R's.
