P12 20V valves compared to P11 Valves
I've been searching but can't seem to find this doe's anyone know the difference in valve size from early SR20VE to the 20V ?

Also ay other differences would be interesting.. we know the cam specs and headers but curious to see if there are may other major changes to the heads.
I've been trying to buy one in Japan with no luck. I wish I didn't sell the X Trail turbo half cut I had 3 years ago......

The valve sizes are the same. The P11 has 6mm valve stems and the P12 4.5mm valve stems.

The intake port is diffrent the divider in the intake port is longer and or closer to the port opening.

The 20V runs single valve spring which is stiffer than the P11 heads dual valve spring

The 20V uses longer spark plugs,

The 20V has a larger water area above the cumbustion chanber.

I just sold one 20V motor and parted out another 20V motor thi past week.

So can my supertech double springs fit the head or are they different diameter and length?

And 4.5mm stems hey, very nice...

They will fit but you will have to get inner valve spring seats-washers

Geoff there is a guy locally (newcastle) that has got a set of the supertech Titanium 20V retainers if you need them. Check PGA forsale section. (only mentioned just in case you need them as the retainer will be different for the 20V valve i'm pretty sure).

Also Gerry has got a 20V head brand new complete, but might be out of your price range, worth shooting him a message to see.

Oh how i wish the fool that bought it off you didnt sell it on to another dickhead here in Aus!

i think im the person who bought that X trail engine from u !

i stripped the engine apart so i could do a sr20v cylinder head conversion on a sr20det block
