Do we have a VE FSM online we can point him to so he can look up diagnostic info/tech?

Plus the shiming doesn't go wrong overnight unless a shim pops out.

How did you narrow it down to valves in cyl #1?

If the sound you are hearing is no louder than the injectors, I wouldn't worry about it.

i know how to remove the camshafts . i know how to dismount all the motor if i want . im not good torqing though, but i have a torqe wrench .

im going to make a compression test .. i did one less than 2 weeks ago so i have recent numbers to compare .. i only know that the numbers were all over 300 nd the gauge didnt read more .. so im going to compare the new number to 300 .

i doubt that i have bent valves because i didnt rev it more than 8,23* exactly .
