trying to diagnose a new problem
hey .. well not more than a week ago my motor haves a strange noise .. a sounds simillar of the one that the inj. makes .. from the #1 piston valves.. when the car is cold it doesnt make the sound. when its start warming it sounds just a little .. can bearly hear it .. but when i rev the engine a little it start so sound a little more .. nd i removed the VC nd check everything .. seems all in place .. a friend of mine (mercado ser) told me to crank the car with the ign. disabled .

the oil thing above the cams doesnt lubricate even .. nd piston #1 valves barely recieves some oil .. i dont know if this is because the revs not being high or if its really wrong .

The oiling situation is normal. The oiling gets much more even with pressure while the engine is running. No worries there.

The sound you're hearing could be a improperly shimmed valve, or air in one of the hydraulic valve lash adjusters (edit: disregard that suggestion), or a slightly bent valve, or it could just be regular engine noise. It's really hard to tell from just your description.

Can you show me where the hydraulic lash adjuster is in the VE?

well .. im going to check if the noise is still there .. because one of those oil things was bent exactly where the sound was nd i did this test after i straight it up . cant now because the car is out of gas completely .

i dont think that the noise is simply the engine noise because the motor didnt have it exactly a week ago . i havent run it from that day . the two screws from the throttle body are in place .

improper shimmed valve ? how can i check it ? if the shims are the round things that are located in the middle of the retainer right ? it haves all of them ?

It would also help if you have a VE.

The oiling is normal, at cranking rpm there isn't enough oil pressure for oil to fully squirt from the #1 cylinder.

If the sound you are hearing is no louder than the injectors, I wouldn't worry about it.

Shim/lash adjustment is not something I would recommend to somebody that is new to the VE. It would require removing the camshaft.
