Fuel dampener? What exactly is that used for Kiwi? the old de's did not have one.

The damper contains a spring and diaphragm that absorb some of the shock of the fuel pulsing into the fuel rail. When the system is working correctly, fuel pressure lifts the diaphragm, pushing it up into the damper housing. Pushing back this diaphragm allows the fuel to continue flowing into the fuel rail. DE's didnt have them.
Although fuel pressure is maintained by the FPR, the pulsing of the injectors causes minor fluctuations in the rail pressure. The damper acts as an accumulator to smooth out these pulsations, ensuring accurate fuel metering.

Just to what nighthog said you have 4 brace's on the manifold two up top and two on the bottom . You'll be just fine .

The ve has only 1 fpr.

But why do you need a Nismo fpr?

I have a question regarding the fuel pressure on my VE:

After a hard few laps on the track, my fuel pressure goes down from 36psi to 32psi (or from 43-44psi with the hose off to around 40psi):

What might be causing this to happen?

ok bro after leaning out and darn near pulling my hair out tryin to figure out my fuel pressure problem i finaly got it figured out,, idk if this will apply to any of yall but what happend was my return line clogged up,, in the tank the fuel pump sits in a little bucket or so to speak, after half a tank the pump realy relies on the return line to feed it fuel, mines was clogged, so i deleted it by simply pullin the ruber hose and mettal fitting away from the plastic iner tank housing and just let the fuel run back into the tank, drilled about 8 5/16 holes around the bottom sides of the little tank in a tank thingy lol and now my fuel pressure is awsome,, the only down side is if your about on empty you deffenintly kno it lol
