I think I understand what you are getting at but not 100% sure. Are you asking how someone would run a N1/20V Maf using Calum or Nistune? If so I am wondering that myself as I am a relative noob to Ecu Tuning. I just purchased a RT V2 from Cliff and will be contacting Dave Dunn at Tuner Code to get myself set up instead of buying a standalone. If anyone wants to chime in

I see a few issues with the Q45 body and using a different sensor inside it, they're calibrated sensors. As soon as you change the diameter of the pipe, the amount of air flowing is different and makes the calibration null and void.

The RB20/25 skyline plugs (green label) fit straight onto the 20V MAF (i have one here) but one pin needs to be changed/moved as it is blank on the 20V MAF.

As mentioned, no VQ map exists or is known for the 20V MAF from what i have found. I did want to use it, but it simply wasn't an option to be able to do so with confidence. Given that however, the VQ MAP from a skyline or maxima unit might be very similar. I know that a skyline maf will work on an ECU programmed with a VE VQ map.

I still have a 20v maf here somewhere, but didnt keep the plug, i'd be keen to see the vq map for one too, but i dont think there is one, or if there is its prob never going to be shared unfortunatly.

What you mention about calibration here makes sense, it will probably need a different or at least slightly altered VQ MAP... The most manual altering of VQ MAP I have made is at idle with some success, but cruising and up top would be an unpractical nightmare.

But same with the 20V, with no VQ MAP. My first try would be looking in the SAFC NEO instructions to see what calibration of hotwire they have for this 20V car/engine (if they have it listed) and find the same hotwire of other known VQ MAFs, like the RB20 or Maxima, etc. Then you know you could probably use the RB20 VQ MAP for the 20V without problems.
