i have a BIG problem !
well .. im pretty disapointed with my motor right now.. i have

SR16 cams and pistons with SR20 crank and rods .
BC springs, SSAC header i think.

the AFR is around 12.6 to 13.4

timing to *15 at 800rpms .

the car feels really tired .

i wasnt sure if it was something wrongs with the car until today..

i was playing around with a NX with a DE with 143 ( dont know if it is WHP ) nd he pulled almost two cars on me .

my car is missfirering .. nd i feel it more responsive on lower RPM . but still not how it sopposed to be .

i tuned it on wednesday.. the ignition was at 8 in around 1300rpm before tune .

nd i only feel little diference nd its only on low RPM .

i run my car with Texaco 93oct only .

i need to solve this ! so if you have something to say, ask ect.. please do it!

tomorow im gonna take out the valve cover to check the timing .

wild guess ?

When did it start doing this? Is the motor freshly built? Cam timing correct?

MY guess is cam timing, make sure there are 11 teeth from gear to gear.

Also, maybe check the compression, maybe you have a stuck valve or something?

Waoooo it should be disappointing by having a high comp VE and get beat by a DE even me will first think on throw the whole car downhill to see if its faster going down!...lol just kidding!

I Hate specially changing that distributor oil seal is a real PITAAA!!! specially for taking out the pin for the aligner piece that goes in the cam (don't know how is it called) but other than that is easy changing it. A little comment about that CHANGE IT!!!! the engine looks awful when that seal is leaking the oil goes allover the trans, side of the head, solenoids...
