this is stock bore and comp thuogh, totally stock bottom end....

i know....higher octane will do alot for making power....research e85, race fuel, and water/meth. Some N/A guys have seen gains of 20-25 whp with WM and higher octane fuel...more timing with out detonation= more power. If a full bolted, camed, exhaust, stock bottom VE can make rougly 205 whp on pump gas then why wouldnt it be able to make 230 with a more agressive tune with more octane....

That is why we would like to take a look at his timing map, 20whp are hell of a gain

well higher octane fuel is fine if your knock limited but most ve's that i have seen with stock compression are not knock limited for timing with 93. so e85 wont do jack for most.

i need to take a trip over to the east side and use some of your guys dynos lol my poor little ve only puts out 180whp sae on a dynojet an its fully bolted with n1 cams and tuned

stock intake manifold and tb, when he said custom intake, he actually meant just that just the intake.

Since the Allmotrb13 has not replied to his original claim, I assume you are the spoke person for him. Please explain how it's possible to get 230 whp from 333cc injector with e85 and stock 10.3 compression?

I can help if you give me the duty cylce at peak power rpm.

im not understanding your post ? are you doubting him or me ? we dont need an explination on injector duty cycle.

ill post up a vid of it on the dyno soon now. the info is out there, ill now back it up.

give me some time, well be back on the dyno soon.

stratton.

this is on a stock engine with stock intake mani, just cams and your header?!

oh boy get my header shipped lol, can't wait to see what i can pull on a high comp 88mm build with it

He is asking how you had enough injector for 230whp because e85 requires 30-40%more volume of fuel then regular gasoline.......

Also. Like mrspecv said generally stock ves are notknock limited so a higher octane fuel will yield no gain.

The big misconception is that more aggressive timing will make more power.this is soo false.
Even with my old motor with sr16 pistons I gained 1whp from running 105octane and full tune..

I'm not calling BS. Just saying. Ill believe it when I see it..

screw dyno numbers, their just a tuning tool.. lets see 1/4 times

even on street tires this car would be good for mid 13's???
