Mixing 20v and N1 cams - anyone here done it?
I am getting ready to drop a VE in the P10 and I picked up some 20v cams. I am specifically looking for more mid to upper mid range power. It was suggested to me that since I have a set of N1's, I should consider using the 20v intake with the N1 exhaust. Has anyone tried this combo?

But if you have both the 20V and the N1s, why not just try it? Then you will misteriously keep the findings to yourself, just as others have done...

A more popular combo would be the 20V/N1 hybrid setup offered by Franklin.

I will likely go in that direction for the 2.4 build. For now I am trying to get the most out of what I've got in my possession. And remember, I've already got a 9500 screamer. I'm looking to maximize 3500-6500.

Joe I am more than willing to bet that as the 2.4 liter builds become more common we will see a better off the shelf cam setup from Kelford. If not I know a few people who would be interested in throwing down on some custom grinds built for each indivdual motor setup. I don't know which person will hit if first but someone will be breaking 300 NA wheel eventually.

^These are the drop in cams that are little less aggressive than the 184-C's right? The 184-C's are not drop in cams and from what I read, they don't seem to have much more top end than the N1. Nissan made a pretty good factory cam lol.

So what's up with the 184-B cam? They are calling that the Nissan N1 spec. I think that's what through me off. The C cam has hella lift on he intake side.

BACK on topic please.

Has anyone tried a 20v intake cam with an N1 exhaust cam? If so, did you get best results straight up (cam gears at 0,0) or at some other combination?
