Both fans turn on on ignition and car not running right..
After addition of N60 MAF and changing the Calum Basic chips to N60 program causes both of my fans to turn on on ignition. The car starts (barely) and when idling sounds like it is not running right, when the gas pedal is touched it dies.

While burning the VE N60 program we got an error during the checking of the burnt chip, is that a problem or is the N60 a toast?

Thanks.

Check and make sure the roms are seated all the way. If they are then you either burned the program wrong or the roms are bad.

I have used the Calum supplied N60 program, after burning the chip verification failed (even after trying multiple times, and on different sets of chips). Would all the chips be toast?

Does anyone have another version of VE inj, stock cams, N60 bin? Thank you.

Could be if handled wrong, static kills. Even if the bin was corrupt, it should still verify that the saved bin is what was put on the chip. It sounds like it's not being burned onto the chip. Are you putting the chip all the way to the bottom of the seat on the burner so that there are a couple of open contacts at the top? And is the notch on the chip at the top, not the bottom?

Thank you, we will try to burn it again, we tried it on three different chips and still had an issue with verification.
