Help...N1 not starting...
ok, am now pulling my hair out trying to figure out what could be wrong... car is this one HERE

basically what happens is when you stick key in and turn ign on, do not hear fuel pump prime...checked and can confirm no power at plug that powers fuel pump.. so tried with power direct to pump and still no luck...

have so far, swapped plugs for new ones, tried different fuel pump, different ignition switch,

have checked all 15 amp fuses in the fuse box (not sure which is the fuel pump one as writing is all in japanese), have checked all the fuses in the engine bay box...have tried different fuel pump relay as well, and again no luck...

am waiting to try another ecu, but won't be able to get that till next week, so looking to see if there are any other things I can check? no immobiliser in the car so can't be that...

any one have any other ideas?

list what your setup is, that will help a lot, we don't even know what chassis you are working with

spray some throttle body cleaner in the intake and see if it fires up, that way you know you aren't chasing 2 problems at the same time

during swaps a lot of people mix the fuel lines up, I did...

does the fuse get power with the key on?

sorry, should have listed what the setup is, doh...

well its VZR N1 (actual car not the engine only etc) not many mods to it, engine is standard, only modified bit concerning the running of the car is the ecu which has a daugterboard fitted, been running fine with that for well over a year

Fuses are pretty much the same as this panel :

Do you have consult ? can you check the ECU for codes ? As above if you use some TB clean to see if it will try and start. If it doesn't, then it might be a bad CAS.

cheers for the fuses list....

I do have consult, but it won't connect to the ecu...I know the consult works as it works fine on the other car

had thought that, but the chips are fine, seated ok, and nothing looks odd inside the ecu...
