Dissapointing Dyno
This is my 2nd time at the dyno with this car.

I have a 92 SE-R with a sr20ve swap. Mods consist of the following:

sr20ve
3'' wai intake pipe
n60 maf
jwt pop charger
ssac 2.5''
greddy mss (vvl points set at 4800rpm)
NIStune type 3 rt
8.5lb competition clutch flywheel
2.5'' crush bent exhaust with 18'' resonator no cat.

The first dyno tune session I had about 1 month ago was heartbreaking. I don't have the dyno chart for that one but I believe it was 150whp, 123ftlbs tq on a DYNO JET.

YouTube -

The second session I had yesterday was not better but the car runs a lot better with no jerking and pinging that the last tune was. It was a smoother map and feels better. But, why the hell do I keep getting the same numbers? Btw, There's a comparison from when I took the car with the map it had (OSR tune) vs. the DC Performance tune.

This was tuned using a dynapack. Someone said i'm peaking a bit too early? 6850rpm? I'll post a video of the dyno from yesterday later on.

I did a compression check before and after the 1st dyno and it read 200,205,205,200.

This motor is internally stock. Never been modified. Any suggestions?

Have you ever been to the track with it? If so, what was your mph?

Strat- There aren't really any dyno tune shops that work with ve's. There are none actually from what I know of. VVL is new to a lot of shops. The first shop (OSR in Hesperia, Ca.) are somewhat familiar with it and Andy (bluerb240) was the one tuning it at the time.

Jer- Never been to the track with it. Not really wanting this for drag racing. just a dd. Getting more into road racing.

Just would be nice to see the mph to make sure the dyno is accurate.

- Have you raced a DE on a open road in Mexico? Either that or take it to the track like jer 760 suggested.

Josh, Which one was the alfred bin? I got the map from Andy (bluerb240). What maf is the bin for?

afr's can't get better then this...

4th gear pulls on dyno pack and 3rd gear pulls on the dyno jet.

I hate to bring bad news, but there is something seriously wrong with your motor. It's currently making the lowest # on the OSR dynojet.

There have been 13 VEs on that dyno and the average tuned stock cam VE makes around 170-175 hp sae.

Something to look into, the compression test # you posted seems low.
