I think because is a big maf, and is "dificult" to read at low rpm's...

With an E60 or N60 is enougth

The z32's resolution is poor compared to the n/e60 mafs. No need for it and potential rough operation.

That is exactly what will happen if you swap out the stock DE maf for a bigger maf. The throttle response will suffer along with the bottom end power.

I've dyno tested both the stock DE and VE maf. There is no difference in peak power up to 200whp.

I bet even though there is dyno proof the VE,N60,E60 does not make any more power than the DE. People will still think the bigger mafs is better. There's always this bigger is better mentality.

I dont agree cause when I had my DE I swap a N60 MAF and tune it with a Apexi NEO and work great for me. I increase throtle response, low and top end, so I think there's something wrong in your tuning. My opinion.

LOL, I don't mind different opinions, but how did you come to conclude that there is something wrong with my tuning?

First off, I have a Calum programmable ecu where I can change the K value for different mafs. I can change the afr, ignition maps, and tp scale base on the maf I'm using.

Secondly, I have a wide band meter to get the desired afr.

Third, the tuning was performed both on the streets and dyno.

Now lets look at your way. Somehow you think with your piggyback Apexi Neo(fooling the maf signal) and butt dyno impression your tuning trumps mine.

This is my point, the DE maf no is restrictive.
