before i buy a VE?
i need a spare motor to put in my car while i build up my DET,

Car: a OBD1 P10 w/ 6puck , lsd , Calum R/t
so ive been looking around for and found some good deals on ebay

$875 shipped

any one delt with?

pretty much man, that and modify your distributor to work on that engine or wire in the ve distributor. Most people like to just modify the distributor to work.

And i wouldnt see why not. I can get a ve engine from Soko in CA for that price shipped or 750 picked up. I have gotten nothing but awesome engines from them. So yeah i wouldnt see why not get it from them. It tends to be the going price for them now a days. They have come down in cost a lot from about 2-3 years ago when you couldnt get one for less than 1400 or so.

Where are you located? I know a couple spots in Jersey had them in the 800-900 dollar range. I would rather go and pick one out myself than take a chance ya know. 875 shipped is not bad though. I paid 945 picked up for mine last year because I had no patience, lol.

here in jersey ve motors go for 700 at jdm engine depot on paterson and jdm engine place in kearny

^Do it! I know when I was hunting for a VE, there was a place further upstate NY that was selling them for 600 bucks picked up. Its been a while so I'm not sure of the name. They can be had cheap man. VE FTMFW!
