Oil Filter Relocation Kit/Cooler for SR20VE
Hey guys, I need help tracking down a filter relocation kit for a VE. I ordered on from TransDepot 20M Thread Pitch but it wouldn't seal, it just bottomed out.

I'm hoping somebody has found another one that works. Maybe Permacool or Be Cool. Any other suggestions?

Is there anything else I need to look for? I eventually am going to be running an Oil Cooler so if you guys find a kit for both that would be awesome. BTW, I did search the forum only to find scattered info that was unclear.

PLEASE HELP!

thanks

^but is that for relocation? It looks like that is for adding a cooler, oil pressure gauge etc.

With the Greddy one you don't have to relocate the oil filter and you have can add the cooler like you want unless your bent on moving that too then you would have to buy a different version of the Greddy plate and buy different block for the filter.

Okay. I am mainly trying to relocate the filter for now, then have the ability to add the cooler.

there is a permacool kit that i got that fits, but it looks the same as what you have. I'm trying to find a place to mount the fliter so its above the pan and i am having lots of trouble. where are you putting yours?

^really so Permacool? I was thinking about putting it on the firewall or next to the powersteering pump. Is the kit you got just the 20M threading, any other details that will make the difference of it fitting or not?

i am pretty sure this is the kit i have Perma-Cool 10695 - Perma-Cool Oil Filter Relocation Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com but i did have to make the part the filter would spin onto shorter because this won't go don't all the way otherwise.

forgot to mention mine is a highport so it probably is different then the VE

So you still have the old one that didn't seal? Why not just cut/shorten the threaded portion of your housing so the adapter seals before it bottoms out?
