Well I did swap cams when I got the motor but don't think valves were bent then because I have since dyno fairly good numbers - 184hp.
But if something was wrong wouldn't it burn oil, make some noise or miss-fire?
Or show some signs?
Yes, I agree if those numbers were to repeat on another test then maybe the motor is not at fullest but it feels fine to me.
As a friend says, it could be that I bought the motor just as is. And as Payu says, they are all used motors so.
And I don't think we should expect to get 240 from all four cylinders from used motors. Matter of fact I am not even sure why I got 240 on any, seeing that 240 is the ideal.
