Had a fair whack of issues with detonation ont he low cam for 16ve. It like to rattle its brains out and was extremely picky with ignition timing. With the new cams i was able to feed the thing everywhere, and also run a cleaner more stable AFR.

Th engine is runnout out of air big time still. Its stil got Factory 65mm throttle and intake tube. I wil be swithcing to a 70mm throttle and short alloy intake pipe in the next week or two to free some air up.

Im only taking it to 8,000.

Once i have the throttle and intake tube sorted i will play with cam timing and offsets. For now the cams are dropped in at 0.0.

It cant shit as much as it can eat.

Looks like more of a header restriction. Going to a 70mm tb and larger intake arm isnt gonna do much for you.

Could well be the situation. We will see how it responds soon.

Still only running 2.5inch exhaust, press bend, catalyic converter deleted.
