As of right now my mind is set on keeping it all motor. I am just waiting on a few phone calls back so I can start making some moves. Plan is to build a basic 90mm VE motor. Looking to make in the 240-250whp range. Actually buying a real 4-1 header for it and ditching the ssac 2.5''. If I can harass him enough, i'll have J up in CT make up a manifold for me. Either that or going to have to get fancy with an Xcessive plenum and longer runners.

He has 13:1 comp, rods, knifeedged crank, springs/retainers, skunk 2 cams, P&P head, basically the works. I pulled on that car like no tomorrow. As far as the K cars go, thats different. My friend has a K20a2 swapped integra with high comp pistons and head work. Supporting mods such as an rbc IM, R-Crew header, 3'' exhaust, 6 speed, etc. I can hang pretty well with that car. His old setup put down 227whp, no clue what it made after he did the header, cat-back, and 6 speed.

The K camp is hard to touch. Those motors respond to bolt-ons ridiculously. From the K cars equipped with an intake, race header, exhaust, IM, and K-pro, they are impressive as hell.

Yeah same here in minnesota with b-series. Our ve's are hurtin them until this past summer where finally some are getting more serious probably cause they're tired of gettin beat by se-r's.

Max bore size on Darton Sleeves is 92mm but we suggest only going 91mm. Our gasket measures out to 91mm. Stock bore can probably only going to 87 then it will crank at the coolant jacket for sure.

Best combo will be 91mm/92mm. That will be 2.39L, some high comp pistons, light A-beam rods and some Kelford custom ground cams and it will make some serious power.

going 90mm bore will defiantly make some power. You will be able to deshoud the valves properly. With headwork, intake manifold, headers, high comp and cams you will see some serious power.

Those cranks look nice too. Do you have pistons set up with standard rod length? or shortened rods?

You suggest that because of the sleeves or headgasket? Im just wondering how the headgasket would work with a 92mm bore.
