supertech valves
i did a little bit of searching and i can't find any one saying any thing about them be them good or bad, im thinking about putting a set in my ve, and the head is going to be shaved just enough to make it flat again, with n1 cams. i dont plan on doing anything turbo. give me some feed back.

dont go +1 +2's on an na build.

^^^Why not?

why not is a good idea, i'm fairly simple minded, if you want more air in and out of the engine make the valves bigger, but i don't build engines, with a ported intake and bigger valves and perhaps a great header, and proper tuning , sounds like it would add up to some good things. but i'm looking for some insight.

the +1 +2's will work great on a turbo engine. That is what they are designed for.

+1, +1 will work better on a na. The ve ex with +1 ex valves and a port job to suit those valves will give plenty of flow without killing midrange power. +1 +2 will most likely end up with a poor in to ex ratio for na.

+2 to be safe should be run with new seats, you save a bit of coin going +1,+1's too.

supertech do make good valves though.

I ageee to a certain point depending on your goals but in the same breath a generalize statement of don't do it or it may not work is improper . You can have bigger valves and the intake to ex ratio will be good, poirt velocity
And flow at certain lifts will still be progressive. All depends on how you do your portwork, seats and valve work, thus complementing your overall goal.
