Just picked up another VE from Soshin @ Southgate in Cali. $795 + shipping, clean motor. 7/97 on the water neck. Ask for Efrain, real good guy. I asked him to email pics underneath the valve cover and the serial # of the block I was getting before I purchased it. You see what you are getting before you buy it. Anyone have a '96 VE on the forums?

I got mine from miko.. He picked out the cleanest one he had for me and then still let me look at the rest of the ones he had so I got to choose which one I wanted I'd rather spend the extra money to get a clean motor that is sure to run

Isn't JARCO close to you? I think they are a little north of Atlanta. I haven't heard much about them here, but they were pretty well respected on one of the S-chassis forums I used to browse, IIRC.

^Hey man, thanks for the link. I just went to Google Maps and I can get there in an hour and 15 from where I live. I'll send them a email to see if they have some VE's I can look at when I'm ready.

have you heard anything back from them yet. their website seems to have no inventory.

^Yep. Emailed the guy and they no longer import from Japan . I have a spare DE bottom end so I think I'm just going to look for a VE head/intake manifold and call it a day. Hopefully I can get all that for around 600 or 700.
