Exactly, Andreas brought up a perfect example why you should swap over as much USDM parts as possible. If you are in a jam, you don't want to be waiting for parts from Japan and GregV will admit he does not have control over the delivery time.

You got lucky and the parts happen to be in stock.

Yep very true. Another reason I kept my old connectors so I can go back to DE mode in a matter of minutes. In the SR game always have a backup plan, especially if you are in a jam. Simply put the DE distributor is and has been reliable and parts are readily available. The VE distributor is an option for those that are interested in using it but there is the strong possibility of waiting for parts and the hassle of wiring it right. Definitely not for everyone. For those that don't mind these issues and still want one or have one and want to install it then there are a few members that are willing to help. Otherwise keep on rockin' with the DE setup, you can't go wrong.

Bringing this thread back from the dead... Looking to wire the VE dizzy up to my 96 P10 for my VE swap in-progress, hoping someone can shed some light on this with visuals.

I've seen a few diagrams on g20.net but they all refer to pin numbers which don't mean much to me since I am looking at these...

VE Connector:

Low-port Connectors:

If someone can let me know which correlates to which it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Good Info. Quick question since it was brought up in this thread. For the b15 distributor what is the benefit of using it over the b13 distributor?

With the b15 you still have to chop off the lower portion right?
