Thread: 2 fuel pressure regulators on the SR20VE??

I was taking a closer look to my SR20VE this evening when it noticed 2 fuel pressure regulators on the VE?

Am i right or iz i confused

1 at the end of the fuel rail and 2 in the beginning.

If im correct: why did the do that?

I FPR and 1 Fuel Dampner.

Fuel dampner stops the pulsations from the fuel pump.

FPR is on the drivers side of the car

Apparently,

The one on the dizzy side of the fuel rail(return line) is the FPR

The other imposter is a dampener which is on the (Line in) on the crank pully side of the engine.

i had an arguement with a friend while hooking up the fuel lines when i did my swap, just to prove him wrong i let him do it his way.. the car didnt start.. we switched the lines (my idea) an the car fired right up... pwned!

Interesting, didn't know that........ So if I have a fp gauge, it goes where????

Just remember, RR....Return line goes to the Regulator!

I put it on the feed line and it works fine.
