I think i Fu<@d my trans.!!!
well went to the track on Friday night to run the 4dr and the second pass i missed 2nd gear so i thought i was just me. let the car cool down went after another run and this time the same....vroooom missed 2nd but tried like 5 times to put it in and wouldnt go, so put it in 3rd and got out. then on the pits i got it to go in 2nd but it popped out, same in 4th.but NO REVERSE!! on the way home 2nd and 4th were fine but now my reverse isnt working. going to check the linkage but i can hear a lil bit of grinding if i place it in reverse and let the clutch out, it just feels like its not going in all the way

Samething happend to me when I went to the track. First pass it wheel hopped like crazy and I could not go in 5th or reverse. 1st was where 3rd used to be. It turned out to be the rubber shift linkage mount wich ripped in two. If you go under the car, where the shifter would be, there is a heat shield that you have to take off than you can get to the linkage mount. I am willing to bet thats what happend to you. Luckly the mount from nissan is only like $20. Hope that helps.

if it is the rubber mount,I have a couple spares here.
Hope it is that simple for you.

did you try putting it on gear without the engine running?
if it goes in all the gears fine then you probably pop a spring on your clutch.
thats how it happened to me, same symptoms as you.
