VE ECU Swap
i want to swap the sr16ve ecu which is running the SR20VE motor now with the stock sr20ve ecu. Will it be a straight swap or will the pinouts be different?

tis a straight swap but you will loose the higher rev limit..

Ok so i switched the sr16ecu with the original sr20ve ecu. straigtht swap. but now there is a distinct hesitation between 2500 - 3500 rpm. then it pulls good straight to 7200 rpm.
Any ideas on what could be cauing this hesitation after swapping ecu's?

Without extra fuel (say a set of 370cc injectors, or an AFPR), you'll be running lean as with the 1600 ECU.

I kno it will run lean with the sr16 ecu but shouldnt it run ok with the original sr20 ecu.
I have no problems with the sr16 ecu but i was told the car will run lean with it so i put back the sr20 ecu and thats when the hesitiation appeared.
